Rhubarb Chard Zen

 

 

 

 

 

The Rhubard Chard leaves and stems have been calling to me for a while every time I go to the Allotment.
Normally i put things directly onto a scanner, but this wouldn't work for the Chard where the colours come alive when viewed with the light behind - so an old light box was pressed into service to try and capture the sugary saturated colours.
Sadly by the time i'd finished the chard was limp and unattractive so its been taken back to the allotment as compost - nothing wasted, but i'd rather have eaten it!

"ribbit" the concentric circles here were because this frog had just joined in the frog chorus in the pond
 
 
 
 
 
 

I spent a pleasant few hours stalking frogs around the pond - these were some of the results.

This room under the tower in Chateau Duras has extensive graffitti - look at the changing writing styles and dates. I could have stood reading these walls for hours.
